FODOBS is a registered charity. All the parents of children attending Donington on Bain Primary School are automatically members of FODOBS and we continue to be grateful for all the fantastic support that we have had through donations of gifts, time and support at fundraising events and any fundraising ideas.

The money raised by FODOBS is used to subsidize school trips, replace and renew some of the school equipment and facilities and last year money went towards developing a pond area outside Class 1 and 2. We have held a Barn Dance for the past two years; and continue to run an annual Christmas Fayre and other events such as Bingo and a Halloween Dance. We are always looking for new ideas and volunteers. We are a friendly informal committee which generally meets six times a year at a local pub.

Thanks to all those who attended and helped at the Family Fun Night on Saturday. It was a great social event, enjoyed by everyone. We raised an amazing £305 which goes directly to the school to contribute towards music lessons for the juniors or new books for the infants!
